I feel like the media lies about first kisses. It's not the initial point of contact with someone new that sets your brain on fire-- that one tends to be gentle, unsure ("how do we do this, again?"). It's the second one once you've pulled away, where you've realised that the other person wants to kiss you, too.
As a side note, I'm gay. Help

The line between "I should tell you everything" and "I should really keep my mouth shut" is looking awfully fine these days.
July 2026
It's 8:30pm which means it's time to do projects so that I don't say stupid shit to the person I want to say stupid shit to and ruin my life :)

A (Still Kind of Vague) Follow-Up On the Last Post | July 2026
In no particular order, to varying degrees, during various years:
The instagram creator that I follow, who makes her money off of sleazy old men who are transphobic in their real lives. The man who sent me nudes while I was in early high school. I lied about my age, but I looked like a kid and he knew. The queer person with trauma and a home life like mine who made out with me behind the gas station. The mechanic who helped me replace my fuel pump on a car I didn't keep. The dancer I wanted to like me whose politics I found unethical. A librarian. A married man. People generally who are emotionally unavailable. Someone I wanted to marry. A friend's brother. Someone on twitter I know nothing about. Somebody I was "too complicated" for. The person I fell for whom I will never tell.
I want you so bad
Quote From A Movie I Watched Recently That Basically Sums Up My Experience With Love
"I love you. Not like they told you love is, and I didn't know this either, but love don't make things nice - it ruins everything. It breaks your heart. It makes things a mess. We aren't here to make things perfect. The snowflakes are perfect. The stars are perfect. Not us. Not us! We are here to ruin ourselves and to break our hearts and love the wrong people and die."

Hooray! I'm starting a blog. Or something. A blogish thing for more text-based commentary when I don't have a new photo collection to post. I cringed myself off of my own tumblr page, so. Might post random shit here, might regret it later, might delete the page. All remains undecided for the moment. Really, this is an open letter to a few people I'm close with. It may or may not be you, if you know me. The public is allowed to listen in.
I honestly really love this background image, but I'm thinking I'll have to add some sort of artistic nudity warning on the main page. This photo was taken in the 1870s by Thomas Eakins in Philadelphia. It's titled "Nude Men In The Garden" and is in the collection of public domain images published online by The Met. I'm still determining where to put a link to its access page.
